Sarah Bomhoff, CFA, CIPM

Sarah Bomhoff joined ThirtyNorth as a Financial Analyst, and has since been promoted to Investment Strategist for the firm. Her industry experience with third party administrators, equity asset management teams, and mutual fund risk analysis make her a great fit for each part of our business. As a Chartered Financial Analyst^® (CFA^®) charterholder and Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM^®) certificant, Sarah holds herself to the high, client centered, ethical, and educational standards these designations promote.

Sarah’s critical thinking ability and interest in research first led her to a degree in history with a minor in political science. An opportunity to work at a boutique Third Party Administration firm allowed her to capitalize on these attributes and generated a career path leading to a position as a performance analyst for an equity mutual fund asset management firm. With an inside perspective of the inner workings of mutual fund management and risk, Sarah approaches mutual fund selection for ThirtyNorth clients with a keen eye for strong management, risk adjusted returns, and consistency in method and process.

Sarah is a student of the balance between risk and return. Part “database wizard” and part “performance nerd”, she uses every tool available in making investment selections for her clients.

When she is not crunching numbers, she and her husband enjoy fixing-up their New Orleans Uptown home, wrangling their toddler son, and eating their way through the New Orleans restaurant scene.
