Suzanne T. Mestayer
Suzanne Mestayer’s breadth of experience prepares her to work with families and individuals in all stages of life. For those serving as fiduciaries of institutions and retirement plans, she brings the knowledge that comes with many years of filling a comparable role for other organizations.
Suzanne holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) certification, administered by the Investment Management Consultants Association®.
Prior to ThirtyNorth Investments, Suzanne held executive leadership roles in banking with a focus for many years on wealth management functions. She also had responsibility for four Louisiana markets for a regional bank and was President of the New Orleans market. She was a partner in an international public accounting firm and on the firm’s national estate and gift specialty team.
Suzanne has shown deep commitment to civic endeavors throughout of career, and devotes her available time to community non-profits. She currently serves as Chairman of Ochsner Health System, immediate past Chairman of the Business Council of New Orleans and the River Region, and is a board member of the National WWII Museum.
Suzanne was recently appointed to the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s New Orleans branch.
She is a graduate of Louisiana State University and is registered as an Investor Advisor Representative. She is also a CPA-Inactive and retains membership in several professional organizations. She and her husband are parents of two young adults.
M. F. Gomila, Jr.
Fritz joined ThirtyNorth Investments, LLC in 2010 and leads business development for the firm. Prior to joining the firm, Fritz’ career focused primarily in the financial services industry with in-depth exposure to analysis, transactions, valuations, equity offerings and sales.
An active member of the New Orleans community, Fritz is the current Chair of the Board of Trustees at Trinity Episcopal School and serves on the board of The Choice Foundation. He also enjoys spending time on the water with his wife and three children. Fritz is registered as an Investment Advisor Representative.
He earned a Master of Business Administration from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, both with a concentration in finance.
Principal and Chief Investment Officer
Blair duQuesnay brings professional designations and an academic background to lead the firm’s investment committee and create and manage client portfolios. She is both a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™. Blair enjoys helping clients learn the major principles of investing.
Prior to joining ThirtyNorth, Blair founded Ignite Investments and Planning, an advisory firm dedicated to serving Generation X & Y clients. She began her career in New York City where she worked at UBS Financial Services, Inc. and Wealthstream Advisors, Inc.
Blair has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia where she graduated magna cum laude with honors.
Blair is a board member of the Louisiana Society of Securities Analysts. She is also a member of the New Orleans Estate Planning Council. Blair serves on the Executive Committee of Citizens for 1 Greater New Orleans and is an active member of the New Orleans Junior League where she currently serves on the board as the Planning & Development Council Director. Blair is also a member of the Board of Directors for The Choice Foundation. She starts her morning with an ashtanga yoga practice and enjoys spending free time with her husband Henry Clay.
Client Service Manager
Mara Fortmayer joined ThirtyNorth Investments, LLC in May 2014. She is responsible for account management, client service, account trading, and firm operations.
Prior to joining ThirtyNorth, Mara worked at J.P. Morgan Chase for 22 years where she focused on banking, investments, and wealth management functions. Mara most enjoys getting to know clients and building relationships with them. It’s likely that you will speak to Mara when you call the office.
When Mara is not working, she enjoys gardening, painting, walking and spending time with her husband Mel, two sons and two grandkids.
Mara is Series 7 and 66 licensed.
